The Importance of Objectivity in Science Studies
In some sense, I'm just not really interested in hearing what anybody has to say unless they are, you know, super up on their neuroscience or something. And that fact is really significant. It goes to the heart of a lot of big questions about, not just about psychedelics, but about science studies and how we construct reality. So it does seem to be at least symptomatic of something. Perhaps the humanities and even the social sciences finally recognize that they're not sciences like that,. That that objectivity thing is just not really available.
