Is the Disney Castle a Part of Our Culture?
I don't think nationalisms is a novelty in british political life. I it's a very interesting question. We tend to see it probably in more human terms, rather than in grander terms. Itits a way of animating our own experience. And it's quite a personal thing, isn't it? When you do get things that are shared. All of us have places in our lives that are significant. But where you have a place that becomes significant because lots of people see it as significant... then there's a kind of collective identification,. which reassures people and then encourages people who maybe weren't interested to becom involved.
