The Bachelor's Divorce

Diana's parents were divorced by the time she was seven. Her father remarried in secret and didn't inform any of his children he was taking a new wife until the ink was dry. Diana joked that she wanted to marry Prince Charles because the royals were famously averse to divorce. She wasn't ready for this monumental decision or the incredible life she was thrust into, but she so greatly desired a family who would never leave her that she jumped into marriage.
