What Is Counter Intelligence?

Counter intelligence is the effort to deal with what other for what fine intelligence services are trying to do to us, either to neutralize them or to mislead them. It's fundamentally, most of the time, defensive. But it's not just the security business at all. And its a common misperception. I put it this way, if there's a hole in your fence, the security boys went on, plug that hole right away. Now let's have that hole get there.
