Xinjiang Region - A Case Study of Automation

Xinjiang is the home of the weaker people so this is a minority people as opposed to the majority Han people they share in many ways more in common with those in Tibet or other countries and neighboring. For this reason there's been this really long standing kind of oppression of weaker people  and then I look at these two examples of so-called automation which involve huge amounts of human labor. In recent years we see media by the Chinese state by sort of tech companies or tech affiliated companies which talk about the fact that this cotton production cotton harvesting is automated. We get this sense this form in which technologies confirm what this cultural context already suspected right, he says.
