The culture that we've grown up is so thoroughly revivalistic and baptistic, even the best of us are prone to this. And again, I went to Southern Baptist seminary, like it was almost this expectation that you're putting on a show. On the one hand, the preaching of the scriptures to the people of God in the gathered worship is mainly not about converting them.
