I think that they intended to get as big as they possibly could, but i'm not sure they expected the dutch to quite cave the way they do. I think his aim was to o set his own colony there, to set up his own state. So i think the aim of the rebellion was quite bold and quite big er. The fact that the rebels, pretty much within a week, make themselves master of the entire colony is is, i think, quite extraordinary indeed. Is very unprecedented for for this sort of success at this time.
