Sensing Without Awareness?

Awareness is simply a more specific word for knowledge, ok? When you sense, you knowbut you can't get around that. And i just use the word aware because we also have intellectual knowledge. All it has to do is detect it and respond in a goleoriented way. So why, i don't see why you have to say that the plant knows there's a bacterium on it. If it's not a type of knowledge, then, you know, we might as well go homeso.
