Ceramic on Ceramic Bearings for Hip Arthroplasty

Two different diameters have comparable amounts of boundary lubrication. Two larger bearings are more flexible. Three larger bearings have greater sliding speed. Four larger bearings have more surface carbides. And five larger bearings have smaller diameter clearance. Ceramic on ceramic implants not necessary in this patient because of the patient's limited activity and life expectancy.
