The Protest at Ken O'Rourke's Stadium
Luton Town have been the plaything of some mad ideas in the past. David Cola proposed plans for a new stadium that would be completely indoors and feature a moveable grass pitch. John Gurney wanted to build a 70,000-seater stadium next to Junction 10 of the M1 on stilts with a Formula One circuit running around the outside. But something good came out of that sorry saga in 2003. There was a protest by organised by fans at Ken O'Rourke because these new owners have been now voted to be killed. They're now figgared of it.
