The First Female Special Agents - 50 Years Later
This month, the fbi is celebrating 50 years of women in their ranks. It was j edgar hoover who led the bureau for decades that prevented women from serving. That's when the first female special agents started their training at quanaco. Women make up just 22 % of special agents. Of the 56 fbi field offices, only seven are run by women.
