Ask open ended questions. Have a unique selling proposition, even if it's something that's slightly different from what the bloke or the lady down the road is offering. Ask them questions where they are giving you insight into their experience. So being able to empathize and understand and be aware of what is this person's experience with me, around me, in this jim, in this environment,. With all of these other people that are stronger or leaner or whatever. Understand that. And if you don't understand that, ask them questions  where they are givingyou information.
