The Importance of the Hijra in Arabia

Abdull-Kais was the first tribe outside of Hijaz to accept Islam voluntarily. They actually embraced Islam without any army coming to them, without having been invaded. And what is especially significant for us is that in the fifth year of the Hijra, a tribe literally bordering the Persian Empire knows the details of Islam and no messenger has come to them. But they've heard of Islam, and the masses has reached them, and they're interested, and they send a group of converts.
