How to Heal a Knee Injury
There is a 6% failure rate at 3 year follow up and best results are noted with anatomic reconstruction using a semi-tendinosis autograph. Early studies showed treatment with 6 weeks of casting is effective at healing the LCL injury but led to significant knee stiffness.
