The Impact of Climate Change on Homeowners

I think we could actually see a run-up in prices followed by a leveling offer even in decline because part of the problem is that a home in California is not built for flood. It's not built for extremely cold weather. Over time, people would adopt their homes to make them more resilient to climate change. And that could bring down the impact and maybe bring down insurance costs as well. But I think in the short term, it's likely that insurance costs would go up.
