The Importance of Turbulence in Engineering
Turbulence is a really interesting case study for STS because so many of the kind of theoretical thinkers of STS right now talk about turbulence as a theoretical model. So Zomrefald actually basically dodges this question in his own work, essentially looking at the onset of turbulence. He's moving from a more professorial vision of what engineering was to a more entrepreneurial or a more perhaps practice oriented vision of the field. And you show also that he's getting involved in this engineering school also at a moment where engineering itself and its ideals is changing in engineering.
