Is Fibromyalgia or an Autoimmune Disease?
Most joints are not red and hot, they're just tender and a bit swollen. Generally non-inflammatory arthritis will not have swelling or pain in very specific joints but it's not a hard and fast rule. Fibromyalgia is a syndrome of widespread joint and muscle pain and it's often very chronic. It may be associated with anxiety and depression.
