The Importance of Playing Short in a Trade

Aaron Hicks was benched after making the air behind coal and then not playing short anymore. He went to Boone and said, why don't I try the outfield? So it was a mutual decision. The Yankees have acknowledged they had a qualm with that role too. There may be a nice bench role for IKF like he, if he can play all the outfield and second, short and third.
