Jonathan Lemire: The debt ceiling meeting was a step in the right direction, but a small one. He says both sides appointed new negotiators and there's an acknowledgement that it's time to get serious. Lemire: There is a sense from both sides that they'll get there probably, but they're also almost certainly not going to get there until the 11th hour.
