Evgeny Progosion: Putin's Butcher
Evgeny Progosion used to sue any journalist who called him the owner of Vagna Group. He refused to admit that he had something to do with Wagner's soldiers fighting in Syria and Africa. But last summer when there were no Russian volunteers willing to fight against Ukraine, he offered Vladimir Putin to recruit prisoners. That was his idea as he had served eight years in prison back when he was young. So that was his idea to recruit prisoners to serve as soldiers in Russian army. President Putin said yes. Last year in July and August, Progosion started touring around Russian prisons, recruiting prisoners to fight.
