The History of Ghosts
In ancient irac, the country which is to day irac used to be called mesopotamia by the greeks. The sumerians and after them, the babylonians, they use clay as a writing material. When archaeology kicked in in the middle of the nineteenth century, thousands of these little messages written on pieces of clay came to light. So if you're interested in the history of ghosts, which i've always been, and the marvellous thing is that the first writing we have tells us all about what people believed on this very subject.
