The Role of Therapy in the Rise of Social Media

There's just been so much more emphasis on this. Even the US Surgeon General is talking about this as a profound risk to our health. I think however supportive those kinds of forums can appeal to people's worst instincts in a certain way. And so many estrangements are occurring today because of this still Freudian notion, which is not supported by the science that everything can be dialed back to a problematic childhood.
