Anti-Migrant Sentiment in Poland and Hungary
The expansion of NATO and Eastern Europe has led to a greater conflict between some of the more right wing dominated countries. I think what's particularly driving many of these anti-migrant sentiments for example in Hungary is that the predicted convergence which people were talking about in the early 2000s hasn't actually materialized. This is partly also an effect of the unequal consequences of European economic integration which basically provide the basis for anti-migrants sentiment.
