The Mother of the Dead
Mary is sitting with the the dead body of Christ sort of over her lap and I mean it's sort of an incredible scene you've seen Madonna and Child images throughout the history of art but this is now Mary as the mother of the dead. Well there's multiple examples of it but most famous perhaps is Michelangelo who was very good for an injured turtle. Like Mary did you know and she did in a sense like you know and it pierced her own soul.
