We've now got over a hundred years to look back and see what we were like as creatures. The worry is that we've learned not to, that actually our ability to alliterate has been obliterated. And part of that obliteration is because we live in a world of hyperbole. So if I say to you, I bought a t-shirt today, it was amazing. Since when is a t-shirts amazing? The Grand Canyon. That's amazing. The fact that we've been to space. That'sAmazing. A t-shirt is mediocre at best.
