i've been interested in forensic accounting for three or four years. People kept telling me, this is usually a field you have to enter once your five or ten years into your career. So i put it on the back burner until when i was volunteering for an altrix class. And so i decided to pursue forensic counting as a career. This upcoming summer, i'll be working in investigations and forensics with pc. I would describe forensic accounting partially as fraud prevention, detection and response in companies,. But there are also some valuation aspects surrounding fraud.
