How Do You Know Who the Bride and Groom Were?
Most were from the same social group of the sort of extended families of the bride and groom. They'd broadly that their sort of grandparents had moved into the town from the surrounding countryside. I think quite a few of them were upwardly mobile, in the sense that the bridegroom was one of the boys in the town whoh'd been selected to go to m the local jesuit college. And he eventually, in fact, became a teacher himself.
