Jacinda Ardern's Decision to Change Gun Laws
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says she totally disagrees with Israel Folau and how he's using social media. Green MP Jan Logi is taking it a step further, saying Folau needs help and consequences. Gun laws have passed their third reading and will come into force tomorrow. There's now a six-month window for people to hand in their semi-automatics. Possession of prohibited firearms could see a jail term of up to five years. The bill also includes a regulatory framework for the buyback scheme.
