In two thousand and 18 when they were going through c t, the banking system held one point two trillion dollars in cash. To day, a bank reserves, bank cash assets rather than reserves, are two point one trillion. At least at the fed's current pace, it'll take two years to get anywhere near that floor we were at in 20 18. So liquidity is not really an issue.
