The Importance of Personal Finance in High School
Students at Wannuski High School in Vermont are required to take a personal finance course. Courtney Pankett is teaching them about earning, saving, and spending. A bill to make a semester long personal finance course a graduation requirement has stalled in the state house. When personal finance is required in high school you see improvements in credit scores as well as reductions in delinquency rates.
