Is Your Cultural Capital Impacting Your Witness?
TGC crowd mainline evangelicalism, I think a lot of them would call themselves probably just New Covenant theology. It's pretty watered down. But the cultural engagement is basically like, let's find neutral ground with the culture. Let's try to prove to them how cool we are. And it's like you just end up whittling down slowly,. Like, well, it would hurt our cultural capital. To talk about patriarchy or anthropology or human sexuality and any other number of topics they really hate today.
