During the celebration slobedon, milosovitch delivered a speech before nearly a million serbs. He seemed to promote unity of all yugoslav people and avoided nationalist rhetoric. But his action spoke otherwise as anti catholic and anti croatian rhetoric became commonplace. Catholic conspiracy theories were allowed to run rampant during world war too. Med ethenic albanians were also targeted by similar bigotry.
