Google Street View and the Differences

In Germany, Google took the unprecedented step of allowing Germans to opt out of Street View. They allowed people to blur out their house basically, or their apartment building. I think it's sort of interesting and a little bit telling that for a lot of people, in Germany and Europe as a whole, they have kind of an inherent distrust of governments when it comes to privacy. In the US, our default position is kind of the opposite. We're more trusting, relatively more trusting, of private companies.
