The History of Water
When i started doing my masters, the opportunity opened to think about the water question. And that's how i shifted from my diversity conversation into water issues and also into thinking beyond costarica. The state of sera is in a semi arid environment. There are very severe water issues happening historically in that area. And costarica, on the other hand, is a tropical country that has areas the have up to nine thousand millimeters of water a year. So the environmental conditions were radically different. That was a really important moment for me when i really had to step out of the presumptions that one makes about how to relate to the cnqu natural world.
