The Importance of Storyboards in Filmmaking
For me, I'm a very visual person, no surprise there. But reading a shot list or being told what kind of shots you're wanting, that's all well and good. And by the time I got on set and what I really loved was you showed up with storyboards, like really detailed, beautiful storyboards and thought through all the blocking. That's what helped make what probably would have been 20 hour days into relatively manageable 15 or 16 hour days. "I think that prep allowed us to make 12 cam as good as it was"
