What's Going on in Afghanistan?

The Ukrainians have been combat-advised by special horses and other special operators for years leading up to this event. This whole resistance operating concept is a whole of nation approach from the president all the way down to the 81-year-old grandmother resisting. The winter is going to be brutal on the Russians as well, particularly with a conscripted force that is sedentary and static. And they don't even know why they're there.
