How Does Catholic Higher Education Help the Church?

Y. Am: How can catholic academics actually help people outside the ivory tower? You know? The academy owes part of its existence and part of its form to the church, specifically the catholic church. So how does the church benefit from scholarship? Y. Am: i'm hoping that my work can bring some of the insider knowledge in order to help people understand and navigate what's going on a little bit better.
