The Challenges of Transitioning to Fast Payments

Around 100 jurisdictions around the world have adopted fast payments and many more are about to go live. The adoption of fast payments is greater among advanced economies maybe not surprising but there's still a ground to be covered in law and middle income countries. Brazil and India UPI both show that it doesn't really matter how big your country is, you need comprehensive payment systems which can serve different population segments.
