Scientology's Tax Exempt

The only reason Scientology is able to get such large donations from its members is because it's tax deductible. If you take away the tax deduction, not only have you now increased their operating expenses like through taxes, property taxes and income taxes but you've removed the incentive that Scientology's have to make giant contributions. Now you can just give them tons of money for nothing, which didn't used to be a thing.
