Novales is a very interesting character. He was born to an ancient saxon aristocratic family, one of 11 children and works in the salt mines. All his friends agree that there's something magical about him. And he falls for sophie von con, who's 12 years old. Although they are engaged bu n when she's 13 - it's a platonic love. So she dies when she's 15 after some terrible surgeries. And he decides that he wants to be reunited with her in death. But what i will say is that he turns this time into the most exquisite poetry. In which he plays with with darkness and death in a very, very new way.
