The Role of Indigenous People in Canada

In Canada, we split our groups into three broad demographics. There's Inuit who are more than Indigenous people. There are the Métis, which was a unique culture that developed as a result of mixing up different cultures through the fur trade. Then there's First Nations, who are probably the most similar to American Indians in kind of a structure. And so I expect in the last episode you probably touched on boarding schools that happened in the US.
