Lenaway County Sheriff Troy Bevere in an interview with Dateline earlier this year, said investigators had also reviewed the security footage before sending it on to the FBI. After his office's initial review of the video, the sheriff described it as nothing that jumped out at us as far as being able to definitively prove anything one way or the other. In January, Sheriff Bevere told Dateline there had been an argument involving D, her husband, and one or two of her employees the evening before she disappeared. No evidence that D ever went to Jamaica or Mexico or Australia for that matter because she would have had a user passport and she did not.
