I think we just got a chicken or the egg problem. I i think the fact that congress is reflecting the polarization of the country is not synonymous with saying is reflecting public opinion. Public opinion is being affirmatively made worse, more sinister, by the republican party. You now cannot be a republican in good standing to a large extent, unless you pay some sort of lip service, or minimize january sixth and down play trump's essential paper cop attempt. That's not a republican party. And they're doing it because it's the view of tucker carlton show watchers and a handful of primary voters and of donald trump.
