Star Wars Music: A Cutaway
A cutaway is cutting to something that gives you a different perspective on the moment. A wide shot or somebody else reacting or even the landscape through which these people are walking. We don't, for a moment, hear their dialogue. That's what I meant by cutaway. When the music comes in there, it's talking about much more universal things than just this particular individual. It's talking about somebody, a young person at the point of destiny where their life is going to take a big shift. And the two sons kind of add this other worldly element to it, remind you that you're not in a desert on Earth. This is somewhere else.
