The Reaction to the Miriam-Kate's Report and the Prime Minister's Review
Primary school parents can withdraw their child from primary school lessons, which address sex education. Those that do not sit in relation to the RSE curriculum are 'inappropriate' Secondary parents can ask to remove their child from parts or all of the sex education taught as part of RSE. But parents cannot withdraw their children from sex education taught in science at primary or secondary level. The Association of School and College Leaders said they disagree with Miriam-Kate's sweeping generalization.
