The Importance of Overrides in a Design System
A lot of the controversy is, does it make more sense to provide these opportunities for overrides at a very, very low sort of last mile bit of the implementation? I think that's a challenge we face every day. The thing that we sort of landed on was you should almost never need these. But in the case where you do, we decided we would rather give you the ability to change this and still use the component than just create your own thing.
