Are Domestic Us. Politics Constrained?
We disagree with many of the things the president has said. We don't think, for example, that the existence off a trade deficit in goods is in any way illustrative of unfair trading practices. But i think people are also capable of making a distinction between declarations which are largely of political intent and what actually happens when you sit down at the negotiating table. So we have to be sure that any trade deal really is a win win in the truest sense of that term. I am curious how domestic us Politics are conditioning domestic eu politics so as to constrain or enable ou negotiators in their interactions with the united states.
