What Happened to Interest Rates?

During that period, 64 to 81, what was happening to interest rates? Were they generally rising or falling or flat? So rates were rising. That's an odd tongue twister. The beginning of it, they were pretty low because we were coming off of post World War II inflationary in the 50s into the 1960s. By the time we got to the peak in 1981, interest rates basically, if you look like the 10 year treasury, interest rates went from 4 to 14.
