Aboriginal protection boards could place restrictions and controls on people's lives. They could remove your children, put them in a dormitory or train them as domestic workers. If you transgressed that there wer inpeticly, in queensland, there were courts on the reserve. So they were, as they call in australia, kangaroo courts where there was no justice to people. But for avoriginal people, it was a very bitter time.
