The Scarcity Argument Is a Step Toward Health Equity
Treating obesity and related conditions costs the United States 1.4 trillion every year. Nearly half of Americans will have obesity by 2030. This is called recognizing obesity as a disease, not a choice is a step toward health equity. And this is so this is so key. It's part of why I didn't even want us to focus on the scarcity argument because like the skipping the line argument, that's a kind of moral hazard framework that is so fucking irrelevant also like the artificial.
